THE FUTURE OF LEARNING

SEASON 2

Episode 3: Anna Sheppard

Why Kindness is the New Cool for Learners and Leaders with Anna Sheppard

The next generation is going to blow your socks off.

Just ask Anna Sheppard and the community of compassionate leaders she’s growing through Bambuddha Group, a social enterprise she founded for existing and emerging leaders who see and are responding to a rising call for kindness in the future of work.  In this episode, Anna shares pieces of her own childhood story and identity to explain how kindness served as a cure against feeling like the ‘odd one out’ as a neurodiverse, gay woman who grew up in a caravan park.

If diversity and inclusion, belonging, and future thinking is your jam, then listen up. In time for Neurodiversity Celebration Week, Anna has some important lessons to share about how we can all create kinder homes, learning spaces and workplaces for a better world, together.

Anna Sheppard, Founder and CEO of Bambuddha Group strongly believes the power of Kindness is world changing. ‘If you can’t shift hearts and minds with the stats and the facts and the figures, then the story and the emotional connection to a story is something that can really shift people’s mindsets. ‘
