Courtney Kovac and Keiran Deck have been chasing the sun around Australia, living out what many of us have dreamed of in 2021, #vanlife! This week, we tracked them down for a rich and juicy conversation about something we’re all born with, and need to learn how to nurture, our health!

This dynamic duo have our whole health covered, with combined expertise and knowledge in mental and physical fitness. Listen in, as they generously share the latest trends in supporting youth mental health, the latest science around supporting physical health for youth, and share their own wayfinding career journeys, that led them to find each other, and design a life of impact!

about Courtney and Keiran

Courtney Kovac is a passionate mental health professional working in preventative education. Courtney was an early  content contributor to The Posify Group, and a much loved next gen impact influencer amongst our crew. Today, as the Senior Program Content and Delivery Coordinator at batyr, Courtney designs and develops stigma reducing mental health programs that empower young people to have more open and honest conversations about mental health.

Keiran has over 11 years experience as a sports coach for young children in sports like Auskick, taekwondo, cricket and gymnastics. As a former cricket and taekwondo athlete, he describes himself as having a deep love for movement that will last a lifetime. Today, he is the founder and host of Secret Ninja School, whose mission is to build confidence and competence in movement for children and ensure they develop a desire to make sport a part of their daily lives. Ninja school has just gotten started, and has already been adopted by more than 200 Australian schools who are using the 5-10 minute adventure/workouts for fun and engaging classroom movement breaks.
